Doncasters Eyes $4.5 Billion Valuation in New York IPO

A 250-year-old aerospace supplier is heading to the New York Stock Exchange with a price tag that could eclipse $4.5 billion. DPC Holdings, the parent company of Doncasters, set terms for its initial public offering this Monday, signaling a major capital raise for the veteran British manufacturer.

The company plans to offload 23.3 million shares, with an estimated price range between $28 and $32 per share. At the $30 midpoint, Doncasters anticipates net proceeds of $710 million, a figure that climbs to $809 million if underwriters utilize their option to purchase an additional 3.5 million shares. Once the offering closes, the company expects to have 142 million shares outstanding. Should the stock hit the top end of its pricing range, the firm’s total market capitalization will reach approximately $4.54 billion. Doncasters has secured approval to trade under the ticker symbol DPC.
