Norwegian Air Shuttle Carries 2.37 Million Passengers in October

Capacity rose 4.5% year over year in October, while traffic increased 6.9%. Including regional airline Wideroe, the group carried 2.76 million passengers.

“The autumn holiday period was characterized by full flights and strong results,” Chief Executive Officer Geir Karlsen said. He added that winter bookings remained encouraging, with significantly more tickets sold than at the same point last year, and that Christmas holiday bookings were accelerating.
