Teva Shares Rally on FDA Approval of Schizophrenia Treatment Weltruza

Clinical data provided by the company indicate that Weltruza usage leads to symptom relief, reduced illness severity, and enhanced personal and social functioning. The medication is scheduled to reach the U.S. market in the coming weeks, offered in three specific strengths: 318 mg, 425 mg, and 531 mg. Teva emphasized that the administration process requires no loading doses, oral supplementation, or post-injection monitoring.

During phase 3 clinical trials, patients tolerated all three dosage levels similarly. Reported adverse events were consistent with typical treatment profiles, including instances of weight gain, somnolence, headaches, constipation, and localized reactions at the injection site.
