Daiken Reports Steady Losses Despite Revenue Growth

Daiken Co. Ltd. posted a net loss of 8 million yen for the half-year ending August 31, matching the exact deficit recorded during the same period in 2025. Despite this stagnation in bottom-line performance, the company managed to expand its revenue, signaling a complex shift in its underlying financial health.

Daiken Reports Steady Losses Despite Revenue Growth

Revenue climbed to 5.84 billion yen, up from the 5.20 billion yen reported a year earlier. While the company narrowed its operating loss to 10 million yen from 34 million yen, the net result remained unchanged at a loss of 8 million yen. Earnings per share dipped slightly to 1.59 yen from 1.48 yen.

Notably, the firm swung to a pretax profit of 24 million yen, a significant recovery from the 2 million yen loss seen in the previous corresponding period. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a business navigating increased sales volume while struggling to translate that growth into positive net income.
