Operating profit also tracked upward, rising to 1.44 billion yen compared to 1.13 billion yen the prior year, while pretax profit reached 1.50 billion yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
Reflecting the stronger bottom line, earnings per share rose to 529.43 yen, up from 393.90 yen. Shareholders are set to receive a year-end dividend of 155.00 yen per share, an increase over the 110.00 yen dividend payout from the previous year.
