Anthropic Targets Enterprise Growth With New Singapore Hub

Managing director of international Chris Ciauri described the establishment of the Singapore office as a natural progression for the company. While the firm already operates in Tokyo, Bengaluru, Seoul, and Sydney, Singapore represents a unique concentration of demand. Anthropic’s internal Economic Index identifies the city-state as the second-most active market for Claude.ai relative to population size, with usage rates 5.81 times higher than demographic benchmarks would suggest.

To support this growth, the company plans to initiate a broad hiring campaign. The new team will focus on integrating Claude into local public and private organizations, specifically targeting highly regulated industries that require secure AI deployment. By localizing its operations, Anthropic intends to deepen its footprint in a market that has already demonstrated an outsized appetite for its technology.
