Berg Earth Swings to Profit as Revenue Climbs

A 37 million yen net profit for the nine months ending July 31 marks a sharp recovery for Berg Earth Co. Ltd., reversing the 70 million yen loss recorded during the same period last year. The Japanese firm’s latest financial disclosure signals stabilization across its core operations as revenue grew by nearly 10 percent.

The company reported total revenue of 5.27 billion yen, up from 4.80 billion yen in the previous year. This improved top-line performance translated into an operating profit of 39 million yen, a significant turnaround from the 220 million yen operating loss posted in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, reaching 49 million yen compared to the prior year's 212 million yen deficit. Earnings per share now stand at 23.25 yen, moving out of the negative territory that saw losses of 44.27 yen per share during the same timeframe last year. These results were prepared under Japanese accounting standards.
