A 3 percent increase in net profit for the fiscal year ending July 31 brought Planet Inc.’s bottom line to 412 million yen, despite a slight contraction in overall revenue. Earnings per share rose to 62.55 yen, up from 60.44 yen.

Shareholders will see a modest lift in returns, with the annual dividend climbing to 44 yen from 43.50 yen. The board declared a midyear payout of 22 yen and a year-end distribution of 22 yen, reflecting a slight increase over the prior year’s 21.50 yen and 22 yen allotments respectively. Future dividend figures remain subject to company forecasts.
